According to an official EODY report, the number of new cases of coronavirus is low enough, as shown by tests done on Sunday across the country.
Of all new cases in the past 24 hours, approximately 1 in 3 cases are in Attica.
Thus, 642 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Attica, of which 167 in the center of Athens, 86 in Piraeus and 89 in the western suburbs. The number of infections on the islands belonging to the largest region of the country has increased and is estimated at 32.

At the same time, Thessaloniki has seen an increased spread of coronavirus: 255 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, while the number of infections in all regions of Crete is 227. Heraklion still has a three-digit number of 104, followed by Chania at 50. , Rethymno – 44; and Lassithi – 29 identified cases of covid.
In the rest of Greece, a spike in new cases has been reported in Achaia, which has 118 cases of coronavirus, followed by Messinia with 94, Kavala with 92, Ilia with 77, Rhodes with 68, Evia with 62 and Corfu with 50 new cases of covid.
