The Greek police received “reinforcements” – 76 new patrol cars, once again renewing the fleet of professional vehicles.
The new patrol vehicles were purchased as part of the supply with regular budget loans and will cover the needs of various services. These are 76 new award-winning Peugeot 308s powered by a 1500 hp BlueHDi diesel engine. French stamps, which are painted in the colors ΕΛ.ΑΣ.
Brand new patrol vehicles will be distributed among the Attica police departments, under the Athenian patrols, as well as in the tourist police departments in Attica, Thessaloniki, Chalkida, Corfu, Nafplio, Rhodes, Kos and Crete.
The addition of these vehicles increases the operational readiness and responsiveness of the Greek police services and improves the level of services provided for the benefit of society as a whole. An additional 354 vehicles were received during 2021. Recall that in 2020, the Greek police implemented one of the largest refurbishment programs, having received 1,453 vehicles.

The first car will be used by the district security department, the second – by the police and the third by road police. will take place on the territory of Kallithea.
Mr. Chrysochoidis, as a resident of Kallithea, stressed in his statement: “I hope that, thanks to the reconstruction of the coastal area, the appearance of the area will be improved. However, at the same time, it is necessary to ensure the safety and strengthening of this feeling among the citizens. We are developing a plan for the daily presence of the police on the streets of the area to prevent possible offenses. “
Mayor Mr. Karnavos, in his speeches at SKAI, stressed: “We actively support the issue of public safety in Kalithea, which is a priority for us.”
