After a short break in the relative “coolness” in Greece, the temperature is expected to rise again.
Temperatures will gradually rise this week, according to meteo.gr from the National Observatory of Athens.
According to meteorologists, high temperatures will continue until Wednesday 18/8. It is expected that the column of mercury on the mainland of Greece will reach +38 – 40 ° С in places.
Today, Monday, August 16, in most of the mainland and in Crete, an increase in air temperature of 2-3 degrees Celsius is expected.
Areas where temperatures are expected to rise are marked in red on the map.
In Athens, the thermometer at noon in some places will reach + 32-34 ° С, in Thessaloniki + 31-33 ° С, in Patras + 35-37 ° С, in Larissa + 36-38 ° С, and in Heraklion + 28-30 ° WITH.
