The Black Sea coast of the Caucasus is flooded with rains, downpours and in the eastern part of Crimea. The regions were hit by a cyclone, causing an abnormal flood.
Forecasters warned about the aggression of nature, but the scale took it by surprise. Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading employee of the Phobos weather center, wrote on Instagram: “The biblical flood is approaching the east of Crimea and Taman!” And so it happened.
According to the Krasnodar TV Channel, downpours flooded 5 municipalities on the Azov-Black Sea coast of the Kuban. An emergency regime has been introduced in Novorossiysk, Anapa, Temryuk and Slavyansky districts. The authorities of the Krasnodar Territory have transported more than 900 children from health camps to safe places, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
In Novorossiysk, 5 household plots and a private house were flooded. In the resort of Yeisk, 2 sections of the road, 28 adjoining territories and 6 private houses, basements of 9 apartment buildings are flooded. At the moment, the flooding has been eliminated.
In Anapa, after heavy downpours, residents have not yet been evacuated, but 15 household plots and basements of 3 apartment buildings have already been flooded there. Water is being pumped out. In Slavyansk-on-Kuban, 11 private houses were flooded.
