Sexual dreams in the midst of a pandemic

According to scientists through the study, 9 out of 10 men and 5 out of 10 women attended sexual dreams at the height of the pandemic.

Many great sleep specialists have studied dreams, and now we all agree that, for whatever reason, we have specific dreams, and there is a logical explanation for this.

A new study conducted after the world’s first isolation showed that the pandemic has affected our dreams, and especially our erotic ones.

Anxiety about the future, thoughts about whether our decisions made so far are correct, forced cohabitation with a partner in conditions in which we have never been with him before (self-isolation), it seems, influenced our spiritual world, which was not slow to reflect on dreams.

In terms of erotic dreams that men and women had, 92% saw them having sex with an ex, while the corresponding percentage for women was 54%. The most frequent dream of women was to have sex with a friend or colleague.

Psychologists explain that dreams about an ex do not necessarily mean that we miss him and are eager to meet. However, we must not forget that such dreams can speak of a “thinning” of intimacy and trust in the current partner.
