The European Commission, following a proposal from the Ministry of Development and Investment, has approved an additional € 100 million for Greece in the Operational Program Public Sector Reform 2014-2020 »ΣΠΑ.
The allocated funds will be used to strengthen the country’s public health system and citizens’ access to it. They will focus on supporting a mobile network of departments to help hospitals in a pandemic era, improve services for chronic patients, and support the mental and physical health of medical personnel.
Recall that the crisis in the health care system is still observed in European countries due to the pandemic. The European Foundation has decided to support each country, depending on the number of inhabitants in it.
Thus, Greece will be allocated an additional 100 million euros.
