Greece reports a surge of 3,565 coronavirus cases

Coronavirus cases in Greece hit a new seasonal high on Tuesday, with 3,565 confirmed cases in the last 24 hours.

Greek health authorities have also announced 9 Covid-related deaths in the past 24 hours.

The number of intubated coronavirus patients in intensive care units is 121.

Note that the number of infections is traditionally high on Tuesday compared to weekends and Mondays, when fewer tests are performed.

The home-based vaccination platform opened today, Tuesday 20 July.

The government intends to remove restrictions from Mykonos, as planned on July 26, 2021, as a large number of booking cancellations were recorded.
