The international exhibition of the defense industry DEFEA – Defense Exhibition Athens-2021, which was held in the ultra-modern exhibition and conference center Metropolitan Expo from 13 to 15.07.21, ended with an absolute success.
The Metropolitan Expo’s exhibition space was a key factor in the success of the event, as its state-of-the-art infrastructure, rigorous standards, health and safety policies, and Covid Shield certification ensured success.
As Metropolitan Expo CEO Mr Marinos stated, “DEFEA was organized under very unfavorable circumstances and we were faced with unprecedented challenges caused by the pandemic. However, the organizing company ROTA managed to hold one of the largest international exhibitions with absolute safety.
Despite the strict framework of the exhibition, the organizers followed the standards and practices of international events with absolute safety, ensuring the protection of the health of visitors and staff.
The Metropolitan Expo Exhibition Center officially opens its gates for the next exhibitions from September 1.
In a post-show report, strategic agreements have been signed between 315 defense companies and 22 participating countries, with the next DEFEA event taking place on May 21-23, 2023.
