Indoor spaces and restaurants will open on July 15, but the question is whether they will be mixed.
In his interview, Minister for Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis said that in any case, closed restaurants and entertainment venues will open on July 15. There is no doubt that both vaccinated and unvaccinated citizens will come.
Touching upon the issue of mixed or clean spaces (for both separately), Mr. Georgiadis noted that the possibility of implementing the measures announced by the government two weeks ago will be discussed in the coming days.
He explained that it will be a question of whether in the end there will be mixed spaces or it will be decided to use only “clean” (covid-FREE zone).
In a conversation on SKAI, he added that on Sunday, the gov.gr platform will feature an application that entrepreneurs will download for free on their mobile phones to scan vaccination or previous illness certificates.
Adonis Georgiadis explained that there will be very strict controls with severe fines for those citizens who provide fake certificates. Inspection services will have more specialized and unified systems at their disposal with which they can detect a fraudulent certificate.
