The fishing vessel sank on Friday morning off the coast of Sami, about. Kefalonia, when a yacht with four foreign passengers sailing under an Italian flag rammed him.
The incident was reported by a 63-year-old fishing boat owner who informed the port authorities.
Actually before the collision he had to throw himself into the sea, from where he was taken by the passengers of the yacht and safely transported to the port.
The Kefalonia Port Authority has banned further movement of the yacht until the relevant certificate is presented to the Greek regulatory authorities.
No one was reportedly injured during the clash.
