Over the past day, 2,327 new cases of coronavirus were registered. There are 142 patients in intensive care units, two patients lost the battle with covid.
According to EODY, out of 2327 infected in 24 hours, 6 cases were recorded as a result of checks at the entrance to the country. The total number reached 437,345 (+ 0.5% per day) people, of which 51.2% were men. Over the past 7 days, 153 new infections are associated with travel from abroad, 1986 – with previously detected cases.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Greece, 12,785 people have died from the effects of COVID-19, today this number has increased by another 2 deaths. At the same time, 95.2% of patients had an underlying disease or advanced age – 70 years and older.
Intubation was performed in 142 patients, of which 67.6% were men. 2735 patients were discharged from intensive care units during the entire period of the pandemic.
Over the past day, 68 new patients with coronavirus (+ 15.25%) were hospitalized. Within seven days, the average number of admissions to hospitals was 56. The average age of the sick is “getting younger”, at the moment it is 42 years (from 0.2 to 106 years). The average age of those who die from COVID-19 is 78 years (0.2-106).
