Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced free vaccination in the country, while European citizens pay a respectable price for vaccinations.
Speaking at a rally of the Justice and Development Party, the Turkish president stressed that vaccination rates in Europe are high, but he does not intend to charge his citizens for vaccinations:
“Have we got at least £ 1 for vaccines from our people? Not. We were advised to get money for vaccines, we refused, we said no. We are doing everything for the health of our people. “
Concretizing his words, Erdogan noted that in Germany, for example, you need to pay 100 euros for the vaccination, your own cost of the drug and in all European countries, the USA, Great Britain (50 pounds).
In response, the opposition did not remain silent: “You are a big liar!” However, for the majority of the Turkish population, the president’s words do not seem to be a lie. A huge percentage of citizens are not interested in news and do not observe events – neither in their own country, and even more so abroad.
