Entering Greece with a vaccine certificate, negative PCR test or rapid test, sickness certificate or electronic certificate. Earlier, the Greek Ministry of Tourism announced two important changes in the rules of entry that tourists need to know. Important amendments concern the process of monitoring the health of citizens arriving in Greece:
Recognition of Rapid Tests: All travelers arriving from abroad with a negative rapid test (antigen test) will now be allowed to enter the country without additional restrictive measures. An increase in the age indicator for children entering Greece regarding the availability of tests and certificates – instead of the current age of 6 years, 12 years are established. That is, for children under 12 years old, no medical documents and tests are required.
For adult travelers, one of the existing entry conditions must be fulfilled:

Have a negative laboratory test for COVID-19 coronavirus by PCR, done within the last 72 hours, or within 48 hours before the arrival of the express test. Alternatively, have a certificate of illness that lasts up to 180 days after the first positive test. Provide digital or printed European digital certificate COVID-19, with information about vaccination or the result of the last test (rapid test or PCR), or coronavirus disease.
Upon arrival, an express test will be carried out in accordance with the procedure provided in the Passenger Search Form. If it turns out to be positive, the quarantine will be valid for 10 days. Compulsory laboratory testing by PCR on the last day of the time limit.
Russian citizens can enter Greece if “they have a negative laboratory test result using a PCR test for coronavirus COVID-19 or an express test for coronavirus antigens (express COVID test). Citizens of the Russian Federation must be negatively diagnosed during a compulsory laboratory test using PCR or a test using an express test for the COVID-19 coronavirus antigen (express test) at the points of entry, staying in the control zone until the test result is issued and with a mandatory time limit in case of a positive result “.
This measure is mandatory and applies to all travelers permanently residing in Russia, regardless of whether they are vaccinated.
