Especially today, after a difficult period due to the pandemic. The institution of social tourism has never been so strongly strengthened financially, ”stressed Mr. Feocharis.
According to the minister, the program has a dual purpose: in addition to caring for a quarter of a million beneficiaries, it aims to stimulate tourism and works in the interests of the industry through subsidized housing for so many guests. It also enhances the survival of tourism businesses, with additional spin-off benefits to the local economy. In addition, the program will help to save jobs and avoid mass layoffs.
