Apply for the Social Tourism Program

Holidays for 100,000 citizens under the Tourism for All program are provided by the Greek government.

Electronic application for submitting applications on the platform “Tourism for all” (πρόγραμμα “Τουρισμός για όλους”) The Ministry of Tourism opens this week, providing 100,000 vouchers.

Those who wish will be able to apply at www.tourism4all.gov.gr, and those who received the voucher last year will be able to use it until 12/31/2021. The selection of beneficiaries will be carried out by lot, with the only criterion being the income of the beneficiaries.

In particular, unmarried people must have an income of up to 16,000 euros, married people without children – up to 28,000 euros, while for each minor child there is an increase in the total amount of 1,500 euros.

The subsidy covers 2 or 3 nights in tourist accommodation and can go up to 100% of cost coverage, with an upper limit of 40 euros per day per person.

In addition, a 4-night stay is possible with a subsidy of 80% and a maximum limit of € 30 per day per person, while a 100% subsidy can be received by people with disabilities (€ 30 per day per person).

“With Tourism for All, the government is proving in practice that its main goal is to improve the living conditions of the Greek people. Especially today, after a difficult period due to the pandemic. The institution of social tourism has never been so strongly strengthened financially, ”stressed Mr. Feocharis.

According to the minister, the program has a dual purpose: in addition to caring for a quarter of a million beneficiaries, it aims to stimulate tourism and works in the interests of the industry through subsidized housing for so many guests. It also enhances the survival of tourism businesses, with additional spin-off benefits to the local economy. In addition, the program will help to save jobs and avoid mass layoffs.
