ΟΑΣΑ: online-purchase of tickets for city transport

The ability to purchase tickets online and charge non-personalized (anonymous) ATH. ENA cards is now provided by the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA), making all its tickets available for purchase online.

From now on, a passenger can purchase tickets or replenish his card according to his needs at the touch of a button on a computer or mobile phone, without waiting at the box office or using machines, only with the help of a non-cash transaction. A prerequisite is to have a personal or anonymous ATH.ENA Card.

It is very easy to get an anonymous ATH.ENA Card: the passenger requests it at the ticket office at any station. No paperwork is required, and like the personalized card, it is laminated and sized for easy storage.

The possibility of purchasing tickets via the Internet, which until recently was only available to holders of personalized cards, now extends to holders of anonymous cards. Now they can replenish the ticket from their web account using mobile Internet (NFC technology): either for one trip, or by purchasing a card for a month, costing 50 euros.

Payment is made either through the ATH.ENA Card application or from the website www.oasa.gr, which indicates the necessary steps.
