Almost everything is ready for the Dior haute couture fashion show, which will take place today at 21:00 in Kallimmaro, Athens.
As previously reported by “Russian Athens”, the Central Council for Cultural Monuments ΚΣΝΜ in May this year gave permission to hold a fashion show “haute couture” on the Acropolis, Cape Sounion and other archaeological sites that are attractions of Greece.
According to information provided in the TV show “Folia ton Kou Kou”, the fashion show will be attended by 400 guests, including some famous Greeks such as Maria Sakkari, Lakis Gavalas and Vasilis Zulias. According to the same data, Brigitte Macron and actress Marion Cotillard will attend the exclusive fashion show with a 99% probability.
“The organization of the fashion show is subject to extremely strict restrictions. All nationwide channels will have only one journalist and one camera. Greek celebrities came up to me to ask if there was any way to get to the show, but this is not possible, ”said Stefanos Konstantinidis.
As it became known, Dior has provided “seats” for a group of 10 people who will be allowed to pass by a secret code, so that they can see what will happen at the fashion show.
In total, 85 world famous models will take part in the long-awaited event, one of which will be Greek. This is Rosana Gheorghiu, or “Caryatida”, as she was called by the foreign media.

The ΚΣΝΜ members also approved the issuance of a photography, filming and aerial cinematography license, as well as live streaming and internet posting of the event on the official Dior website.
Dior’s request for photography and video filming of archaeological sites, i.e. Acropolis (photography only), Herodium, Ancient Agora, Sounion and Ancient Nemea, was unanimously approved.
The Commission decided that in this way Greece will be given an additional “advertisement”, the representation of the country in the world space at a quite “worthy level”. It should be noted that there were many public figures dissatisfied with the fashion show on the Acropolis.
