Mr Temistokleous said that for those who have had covid, the second dose of the vaccine is not automatically canceled, and the panel’s corresponding recommendation is that the dose be given in six months.

“If a citizen who has recovered has an appointment for a second dose of the vaccine, he must cancel it on his own. The same will happen if he is sick, and the day of receiving the first vaccine has already been set earlier. In this case, you need to cancel the day of admission and register for vaccination after 6 months, ”the expert said.

Marios Themistokleous explained that EU-20 countries recommend a second dose of the same vaccine, except in cases of thrombosis. He noted that the likelihood of thrombosis with the second dose is negligible.
