Today, 14/06, a new joint ministerial decision (ΚΥΑ) comes into force, according to which the opening hours of grocery stores (supermarkets, bakeries, etc.) are changed.
Supermarket and bakery measures: ΚΥΑ Allows grocery stores to work from 7 am to 10:30 pm, which is valid until Monday 21 June 2021, until 6:00 am. Pharmacies and petrol stations work according to the current schedule, in accordance with special provisions, on an individual basis.
In addition to the schedule, according to the Government Gazette, for every 25 sq.m. in the main area of the store (without ancillary premises, warehouses, offices, parking lots) there can be 1 person (in case of violation, a fine is charged).
The same ΚΥΑ stipulates that consumers who come to a retail outlet to pass (purchase) a self-diagnosis test are not counted. This exception applies to grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, pet shops, laundries, tobacco / vape shops.
Carried out exclusively in the fresh air. From June 12, 2021, and outdoors in ventilated galleries (if there are two open sides), only seated customers will be served, with the ability to work from 5:00 to 1:15.
