Fish baked in the oven with potatoes

We bake fish in the oven with potatoes, lemon and spices. The result will delight you! Juicy fish with a crispy crust and crispy potatoes, lick your fingers! The recipe is completely simple and quick.

RECIPE:

fish -1 kg. or a little more (I have a milokopi fish)

120 g white wine

100 g olive oil

juice of 1-2 lemons

oregano

pepper

salt

3-4 medium potatoes

1/2 lemon.

COOKING:

For the marinade, mix white wine, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, pepper and salt. Whisk lightly.

We clean the fish from the entrails, rinse thoroughly. I have a large fish, I cut off my head so that it fits in a baking sheet.

Cut the fish slightly on both sides, salt.

Put in a baking sheet, pour with marinade. Put halves of lemon slices in the cuts.

Peel and chop the potatoes. The pieces should not be very large, like for frying. Add salt and oregano.

Place the potatoes in a baking sheet, filling the spaces around the fish.

Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and foil. We bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Remove the paper and foil, put the fish back in the oven and grill for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

We do not pour out the liquid released during baking of the fish, we use it as a sauce for fish.
