A new outbreak of coronavirus is noted in Moscow, in the Russian capital over the past day 6701 new cases were recorded, which was the highest figure since the end of last year.
Lockdown and tougher security measures were announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on his website. From June 15 to June 19, the days will be non-working, although the workers will keep their wages. This order applies to enterprises of all forms of ownership, except for those strategically important for the life support of the city. At least 30% of employees will switch to telecommuting.
Among the measures being introduced to spread the coronavirus are the closure of rental points, sports and playgrounds, attractions, various entertainment facilities, food courts in shopping centers until June 20.
Concerts in nightclubs are canceled, and catering establishments will only be able to serve visitors from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm, including bars and nightlife venues.
