Interactive map of covid in Greece

Deputy Civil Protection Minister Nikos Hardalias has uploaded interactive maps to Facebook about the progress of the coronavirus pandemic, vaccinations, immunity wall and self-defense measures to be taken this summer.

As he writes in his post, two new interactive maps that track the development of the pandemic and vaccinations at the regional unit (and municipality level on the islands) are now available at https://covid19.gov.gr/covid-map.

By clicking the mouse on the region, each citizen or foreign visitor can be informed about the following indicators:

7-day mobile incident on average per 100,000 inhabitants; positivity index (%); vaccination coverage (at least one dose); weekly rate of infections (rising, declining, or steady).

The deputy minister states that “in this way, local authorities, permanent residents and visitors can get a clear picture. Thanks to vaccinations, systematic and massive diagnostic and self-diagnostic checks, transparency and open public data and, of course, individual and collective responsibility, we can spend the summer safely. “
