The payment schedule set by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, e-EFKA and OAED concerns special compensation for employees whose employment contracts were suspended in May.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, a total of about 143 million euros will be paid to approximately 280,000 beneficiaries.
In particular:
1. From the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs tomorrow, Monday, June 7, will be paid:
€ 80.9 million to 202,741 beneficiaries whose employment contracts were suspended in May to pay special compensation. € 166,950 for 310 beneficiaries in relation to the payment of special compensation for the suspension of employment contracts of employees in November and December 2020, unilateral statements of responsibility by professionals in the field of arts and culture from September 2020 to February 2021 and special categories of employees.
2. In the period from June 7 to 11, the following payments will be made from e-EFKA:
€ 16.5 million will be paid to 600 beneficiaries following the decision on the lump sum. € 9,500 will be paid to 18 recipients.
3. OAED will make the following payments:
€ 25 million for 66,000 recipients of unemployment and other benefits. € 20 million to 8,500 beneficiaries of employment subsidy schemes. 500,000 euros for 1,000 mothers on preferential maternity leave.
For the period from June 7 to 11, no planned payments from OPECA are expected.
