Mike Pompeo: “China doesn’t want the world to know what happened”

In a televised speech, former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that China could very easily explain the origin of the coronavirus if it wanted to.

On Fox News, Pompeo recalled that it was the State Department in January 2020 that released the information and reported on existing problems in the virology laboratory of Wuhan, China, where military development was carried out. This was a reaction to the statements of Anthony Fauci, where he defended the PRC. The chief US infectious disease specialist, according to RT, even received gratitude from WHO spokesman Peter Dashak for “protecting” China from accusations of a lethal virus leak from the laboratory.

The former US secretary of state assures that Beijing is hiding the true developments in the Wuhan laboratory, from where the coronavirus could have leaked, and could, if desired, easily explain everything that happens in the world. Pompeo said the Department of State did a good job of finding out all the details, “overcoming a lot of internal bureaucracy” and the prohibitions of those who do their best to withhold important information.

The ex-official warns: “China does not want the world to know what happened.” He doesn’t want the world to know about secret military activities Wuhan Institute of Virology, conducted in the run-up to a pandemic. The former head of the State Department said:

“In fact, we know a lot. We know there was a feature study that this lab was level 4 and had leaks in the past due to security flaws. We know that there were doctors who fell ill and were hospitalized in the fall of 2019. We know that military activities were carried out in the same laboratory. We don’t know what they did, and what they don’t want you to know suggests that we should not doubt. They could clear things up in a minute if they wanted to. When we get to the end of this story, we will show that the Chinese knew what happened and their virology lab was at the center of it. “

Pompeo called the statements by CNN’s chief infectious disease specialist Anthony Fauci on Thursday, where he defends the activities of the Chinese Communist Party, “ignorant and naive.” Fauci, in particular, said: “It is rather far-fetched to claim that the Chinese have deliberately created something that will kill themselves and other people.” In response, Pompeo sarcastically questioned the CCP’s concern about the fact that there are people in Wuhan who are dying.

Yesterday, the Financial Times published an appeal by Anthony Fauci to the Chinese authorities, where he calls for an explanation of the outbreak of the virus. The publication emphasizes that in 2012, 6 Chinese miners fell ill with a strange illness after visiting a cave with bats, while three of them died. After the incident, scientists from the Wuhan Institute of Virology took samples of the virus in the cave. In the fall of 2019, 3 employees of the institute fell ill with a mysterious disease.

The Wall Street Journal reported a serious illness that struck three researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in November 2019. They all worked in the same coronavirus research team, had the same symptoms and sought medical help in November.

And even before the announcement of a pandemic and the recognition of the coronavirus as deadly, in December 2019, from covid the virologist’s wife passed awaywho worked in the Wuhan laboratory. This was told by David Asher, a former employee of the US State Department who was investigating the origin of the coronavirus.
