Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will talk about the resurgence of the coastal front, the Athenian Riviera, today at 21:30 at a special event to be held in Glyfada.
According to the SKAI TV channel, the Prime Minister in his speech will touch upon the planning and integration of public spaces of the coastal front, from ΣΕΦ to Cape Sounion, with the construction of a single bicycle and pedestrian road with a length of 70 km. The first phase of the impressive project will be a 22 km section that will connect ΣΕΦ to 3B, that is, Vari-Vula-Vouliagmeni.
As it became known, the main financing of the project will be carried out at the expense of funds from the restoration fund, as well as from some others, for example, the fund “Antonis Tricis”. The coordination of the municipalities involved will be carried out by the Attica region.
According to the same information, the goal for the coming years is to create 100 km of bicycle paths in Attica.
