Athens: arrested for stealing a vaccine

A 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with the theft of two vials of Covid-19 vaccine from a vaccination center in Peristeri, in western Athens, on Tuesday.

According to police, a man suspected of using drugs visited a vaccination center to get vaccinated. Immediately after he was injected, staff discovered that two vials of Pfizer vaccine were missing. Some media reported that the nurse who gave the vaccine saw the man put the vials in his pocket.
