In Nea Smirni, police seize 40 kilograms of hashish

Two Greeks, 34 and 30 years old, and a 33-year-old Bulgarian were arrested by officers of the capital’s anti-drug police unit in the Nea Smirni region for possession and drug trafficking. More than 40 kilograms of hashish were seized from drug dealers.

The arrest in Nea Smyrni, according to EL.AS., was carried out after receiving information about the actions of three accused concerning the illegal circulation of large quantities of hashish.

As a result of a search carried out by the police, the houses of the arrested were found and confiscated, among other things: 35 kg and 500 g of raw hemp, 4 kg and 665 g of processed hemp in the amount of 10 605 euros and 2 cars.

The three arrested were taken to the Athens Prosecutor’s Office. A criminal case has been opened against them under the article for trafficking and distribution of drugs on a large scale.
