The policeman was in the car registered in the name of his wife with his brother-in-law. It was only after the discovery of the dangerous cargo that he announced his status to the inspectors. At the same time, he claimed that he did not know about the contents of his trunk.
During the trial, the police officer’s brother-in-law took responsibility for the transportation of the cargo. According to him, the explosives were in his family’s warehouse, and he wanted to take them out. It is reported that the policeman was acquitted, and a criminal case was opened against his brother-in-law.
