Ermou is filled with crowds of people

On Sunday morning, Hermes Street in Athens (Ermou), a real shopping paradise, which has been empty since November last year due to quarantine measures, looks shocking today.

Crowds of people who went shopping simply “flooded” the pedestrian zone. And since the shops are open today, the townspeople and guests of the capital preferred to go shopping and sit in a cafe, than to go to the beach, because they missed the “old days”. As a result, queues lined up at the doors of boutiques along the Ermoux.

As you know, citizens no longer need to send messages to get permission to leave their homes or go to the store. And this played a decisive role.

“We are vaccinated and can go shopping freely with the whole family, because we missed these walks so much,” passers-by tell TV reporters.

As a reminder, the shops are open until 21:00 today.
