As you know, the official opening of tourism will take place this Saturday, May 15. And from tomorrow, Friday May 14, citizens can make interregional movements.
Anyone who wants to visit the island or travel to the mainland can do so with a PCR, rapid test, self-test, or vaccination certificate. But the three islands are an exception!
In particular, access to the islands will be open to those who have been vaccinated or tested negative for coronavirus.
The European “green certificate” comes into force on June 1, subject to the following conditions:
Anyone wishing to travel to and from the islands, by ferry or by air, must have a vaccination certificate (14 days after the second dose). Or a 72 hour negative PCR test. Or a 24-hour rapid test. Or a 24-hour self test.
The control will be carried out by air and shipping companies, all domestic and foreign travelers over 5 years old will be required to have the relevant documents with them.
However, three islands are excluded from the above requirements:
