Kurabie shortbread cookies with jam

The recipe is not complicated and fast at all. The biscuits are crumbly and aromatic. It looks just gorgeous, eaten instantly with friends over a cup of hot coffee. For the filling, it is advisable to use jam of a bright contrasting color.


120 butter at room temperature a pinch of salt 60 gr. powdered sugar vanillin – 1 egg at room temperature 1 | 2 tsp baking powder 200 gr. flour 60-80 gr. jam, thick jam


Beat the softened butter for a few minutes, add salt and powdered sugar, vanillin, continue to beat. Add an egg at room temperature. In another bowl, mix the sifted flour, baking powder and gradually add to the whipped butter. Knead the dough, it should be thick. We transfer it to a pastry bag with the desired nozzle. We plant small flowers. Make a small indentation with your finger in the center of each flower. Fill the cavity with jam or thick jam of a bright color. We bake at a temperature of 190 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
