The opening of kindergartens has been postponed. Preschool institutions are slated to open on May 20-24, Deputy Interior Minister Stelios Petsas said.
The issue of kindergartens has already been discussed by the committee and the government, while the authorities of the country pointed out that “it is difficult to oblige children aged 0-4 years to pass self-tests and wear masks,” Mr. Petsas said on the MEGA TV channel. The Deputy Minister stressed that the resumption of the work of kindergartens is scheduled for approximately May 20-24.
It is noted that next Monday, May 10, secondary and elementary school students will return to their desks with the necessary conditions for self-testing and using a mask.
On the same day, as it became known yesterday evening, tutoring departments of training centers (frontistirios) and foreign language courses, preparing senior schoolchildren for state exams, will reopen.
