On Friday 7 May 2021, at 13:00, a new job subsidy program will be activated to recruit 2,000 unemployed people in Attica and the South Aegean region.
The goal of the program is to create 2,000 new full-time jobs and all beneficiaries are private companies operating in the above areas.
The employment program is designed for 12 months, and the monthly subsidy for wages and other expenses is 450 euros for hiring unemployed people and 550 euros for hiring long-term unemployed (over 12 months).
The beneficiaries are unemployed people aged 30 and over who are registered in the OAED for a period of at least one month.
To participate in the program, interested companies submit vacancies electronically, indicating the specialty and the desired level of education. OAED labor consultants then nominate suitable candidates for the company, in accordance with the required qualifications of the vacancy, and then the company selects among the candidates and hires the unemployed.
The total budget for the program is € 12,000,000 and will be funded from OAED resources.
