When will supermarkets and shops open?

Catering establishments open on Easter Monday, while retail stores and supermarkets will still be closed for the holiday.

The aforementioned trade enterprises will not be open today, on Easter Sunday, as well as tomorrow on Monday, which is a mandatory day off, and on Tuesday, May 4, since May 1 (holiday) has been postponed.

Thus, shops and supermarkets will open to consumers on Wednesday 5 May.

On Easter Monday, quarantine measures are “curtailed”. On Easter Monday (3/5), the travel ban (curfew) starts at 23:00.

Restaurants, taverns and cafes reopen after 6 months of quarantine, with strict security measures against the spread of the virus.

In particular, for catering establishments, restaurants, cafes, Internet cafes, snack bars, catering (except for student canteens), it is mandatory to conduct a self-test by personnel.

Only establishments with the appropriate license will work, and which provide catering services only in the open air, and in addition, serve visitors sitting at tables and function without playing music.

Requirements for catering:

disinfection of menus and surfaces when changing clients at tables; placing a bottle of disinfectant on the table; mandatory use of the mask by staff and customers while waiting; you can be up to six people at the table; compliance with the distances between chairs, as well as tables in the area of ​​the institution and compliance with the rules of hygiene; it is allowed to use a bar counter with two chairs put together, which are located at a distance of one and a half meters from each subsequent pair of chairs; the ability to work from 05:00 to 22:45; services for the delivery of ready-made food packaged to take away, i.e. take away, delivery and drive-through are allowed even after 23:00, but without buyers staying in the internal or external zone of the catering establishment.

As a reminder, on Easter Sunday the curfew starts at 22:00, and on Easter Monday at 23:00.
