Greece will help India with oxygen tanks and medical equipment to fight the coronavirus at a time when the country’s health care system is on the verge of collapse.
Greece is ready to assist in the crisis in India due to the explosive size of the coronavirus pandemic in the country by sending humanitarian aid.
According to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Citizens’ Protection, the Greek government immediately responds to the request of the Indian authorities and through the European Civil Protection Mechanism “is ready to send 90 oxygen cylinders with a total capacity of 440 liters, as well as medical supplies (masks, gloves and other self-defense equipment).”
India’s health care system is reportedly on the brink of collapse, while there is a huge shortage of sanitary supplies for the treatment of coronavirus and, mainly, oxygen cylinders.
