Not one or two, but as many as 16 times, in just two months, criminals stole food from a food packaging and standardization company in Thermi, Thessaloniki.
According to the local newspaper seleo.gr, the organized criminal group included four Greeks aged 20 to 54 years. The detainees are accused of stealing food from the company and taking them away by car in March and April last year, together with their accomplices who are currently on the wanted list. A case was initiated against the “insatiable” thieves, which was transferred to the prosecutor’s office.
Let us remind you that during the quarantine, many enterprises were in a “dormant state”, i. E. were closed or operated with a reduced number of staff and security guards. Thieves took a closer look at them. Seeing that they got away with one theft, they made a whole 16 raids into the warehouse before they were caught.
