Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, explained to The New York Times, under what condition tourists will definitely be hospitably received in the European Union.
Ms von der Leyen says:
“All 27 EU countries will unconditionally accept anyone vaccinated with drugs approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).”
In addition, the timing of the resumption of travel, unfortunately, is still too dependent on the epidemiological situation in each state. At the same time, the President of the European Commission kept silent about how to be citizens vaccinated with vaccines not yet approved in the European Union.
Currently, four drugs have received EMA approval for vaccination against coronavirus: Pfizer and BioNTech (American-German consortium), Moderna (American company), AstraZeneca (British-Swedish company), Johnson & Johnson (USA).
