4,000 Russians can still enter Greece per week – restrictions extended

The Government Gazette published a decision to extend the restrictions on the entry of citizens from Russia to Greece until 6:00 on May 3.

Still 4,000 Russians can visit Greece within a week, crossing the border by air. However, if earlier liners with Russian tourists met the airfields of Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion, now this list has expanded significantly. You can safely take a plane ticket that will land at the airport:

Rhodes; Kerkyra (Corfu); Spit; Santorini; Chania (Crete); Mykonos.

Russian tourists do not need to undergo quarantine if they have a vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test result taken 72 hours before arriving in Greece. The certificate of the passed test must be submitted in English, indicating the tourist’s data. The vaccination certificate indicates the date of the vaccination – at least 14 days before arrival.

At the airport of arrival, it is possible to conduct a sample test, until the results of which are received, you will have to not leave the place of temporary residence indicated before the flight when filling out a special electronic form.
