Unbelievable: how many cases of covid were detected in schools self test

Self-tests in secondary schools identified 2,000 cases – both among students and among teachers throughout Greece.

As a result, many schools were closed before they could reopen. In particular, 44 schools and 269 branches of educational institutions were closed.

According to piraeuspress.gr, at the 3rd Lyceum of Kifissia, two students tested positive for self-examination, and the headmaster found himself in a difficult position, because there were no clear instructions as to whether other students should attend the lesson.

According to MEGA, the parents of the students are extremely concerned about the situation.

Self-Test in Primary and Secondary Schools
Two self-tests per week will become mandatory for elementary and high school students from May 10, when they are expected to return to class.

In the meantime, the police arrested a teacher on Andros because he went to school without a prescribed negative self-test.

We will remind, as “Russian Athens” wrote earlier, the Greek police and other competent inspection services conduct a large number of checks on a daily basis to ensure that citizens comply with measures to protect against the spread of coronavirus, introduced by the authorities at the legislative level. Seven arrests and fines for a total of 290,900 euros – this is the “catch” of just one day. Fines were issued for non-compliance with measures to limit the spread of coronavirus. Among those arrested was a teacher, a secondary school teacher from the island of Andros, who did not give a negative self test.

“According to the information available to the law enforcement officers, he also did not wear a mask. The director reported the incident to the authorities. I think that the teacher will not be able to immediately start his official duties. I do not know exactly what he is accused of and why he was arrested, ”commented Marianna Fotopula in the program“ Κοινωνία Ωρα ”on the MEGA channel.

“The situation in Andros has returned to normal after an outbreak of the disease, which was recorded by epidemiologists earlier,” added Ms Fotopoulou, journalist andriakipress.gr.
