Pandemic Chronicles: April 23, 2754 new cases, 819 intubated, 76 dead

New laboratory confirmed cases of the disease registered in the last 24 hours amount to 2,754, of which 12 were detected after entry checks. The total number of cases is 329,134 (daily change + 0.8%), of which 51.3% are men. Based on confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 65 are considered to be related to international travel and 3,094 to a known case.

The number of patients who underwent intubation was 819 people (63.2% of men). Their average age is 68. 84.5% have an underlying disease and / or are 70 years of age or older. Since the beginning of the 2003 pandemic, patients have been discharged from intensive care. The admission of new patients with Covid-19 to hospitals is 456 (daily change -2.56%). The average number of patients hospitalized for seven days is 479.
