Due to the global coronavirus situation, Pet Shop Boys decided to postpone their tour until 2022. Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe will appear in Athens on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Water Square as part of Release Athens 2022.

According to the organizing company, “we will provide more details on when we will return, when the necessary explanations and relevant official announcements will be made by the competent state authorities regarding the planned cultural events. For our part, we are in constant contact with all the artists. but, as we understand, it all depends on the course of the pandemic, the rate of vaccination and government decisions – factors that we can neither predict nor influence. ”

According to the organizers, the tickets sold are valid until the new date, and the presale of new tickets on the websites releaseathens.gr and viva.gr continues.

On September 11, 2019, the duo released a new single “Dreamland»Recorded together with Years & Years. This single is the first new Hotspot album, which was released on January 24, 2020.
