Coronavirus: fake vaccination certificates on the darknet

Recently, offers to sell fake vaccination certificates have flooded the internet. Against the background of a tough fight against this phenomenon, business has migrated to the shadow segment of the network, Interfax reports.

The demand for certificates is huge – some of them are necessary for a trip abroad, others for a banal office visit. The authorities’ struggle to curb the dangerous phenomenon has moved the deals to the darknet. In European countries, a certificate can be purchased for only $ 25, in Russia, for a European-style document, it is a little more expensive, you will have to pay from 40 to 60 “green” ones.

However, according to experts, the fight against this phenomenon does not stop and is quite successful. Resources selling vaccines and vaccination certificates are quickly identified and blocked.
