Police continue to comb the southern suburbs of Athens in search of two motorcyclists who shot journalist Giorgi Karaivaz in cold blood this afternoon.
According to the description of the witnesses, one of the criminals was wearing a khaki jacket. The motorcyclists had no helmets. At the moment, there is a questioning of witnesses and neighbors of the victim.
At about 2:15 pm, the journalist returned home after filming the show “Truth with Zina” in Pickermee. No one heard the shots of the criminals waiting for him, probably, the weapon of the crime was with a silencer. At least 12 bullets were found at the scene of the incident.
According to the Athens News Agency, which cites police sources, the journalist had not previously reported receiving any threats and had not contacted law enforcement agencies about this.
